Let’s Talk About Curves..

7 Mar

Curves. The word brings many images to mind.. Eg. Jessica Rabbit, Kim Kardashian, Marilyn Monroe.
I don’t think a women’s body shape defines how much of a ‘woman’ she is. However, I do believe that curves are beautiful and should be embraced by women, men, and more so by the media.
I adore pictures like these as the women look gorgeous and sexy, despite not being slim/skinny with extremely flat stomachs (which is what many young girls seem to think they should look like).
Slim, naturally skinny, curvy, thick thighed, pear shaped.. WHATEVER. As long as your taking care of your body and you’re happy with the way you look – you are beautiful.
I’d love to see more curvy models in fashion magazines. What do you guys think?

I found pictures of this outfit online a few days ago and literally fell in love with it.
The skirt looks more like a picture of flowers in a meadow than a floral print, which I think is beautiful. And the socks and heels are just gorgeous. So feminine and some what old school. Reminds me of 50/60’s inspired looks I’ve seen on the runway.
Wonderful look for spring I think!

Skater Skirts are EVERYWHERE right now, and it’s no wonder that every high street brand have released their own selection months before spring.
One thing I love about this particular skirt are it’s fine pleats. Often, the pleats on Skater Skirts are folded sideways, as opposed to this 3D fan-like fold.
I would have maybe paired it with a different top?
Love the outfit never the less.
